Dialogue on Universal Health Coverage in Bangladesh Successfully Concluded at CIRDAP

The policy dialogue “Monitoring Progress on Universal Health Coverage (UHC)” was successfully concluded today at the CIRDAP Auditorium, marking a key milestone in the Bangladesh Road to Universal Health Coverage – New Dialogue Series 2026.

The session featured an insightful keynote presentation by Dr. Md. Aminul Hasan, PhD, who highlighted monitoring frameworks, health system performance indicators, and priority reforms essential for achieving Universal Health Coverage in Bangladesh.

The discussion was thoughtfully moderated by Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, whose expert facilitation fostered a focused and evidence-based exchange among participants.

The dialogue convened policymakers, health researchers, development practitioners, and civil society representatives, creating a platform to review progress on UHC, identify systemic gaps, and outline actionable pathways toward a more equitable, inclusive, and accountable health system in Bangladesh.

This event reinforced the importance of robust monitoring mechanisms, policy coherence, and cross-sector collaboration in advancing Bangladesh’s journey toward UHC by 2032.
